In 2018 Invesdor started collaborating in digital growth company financing with Nordea, the biggest Nordic bank by assets. In 2018 the collaboration contributed to the successful funding rounds of two companies. Many more are on the way.
Originally announced in May 2018, the Nordea x Invesdor collaboration really kicked off in Q4 of the year. During the quarter, two exemplary companies – Naava and Weecos – completed their funding rounds with help from the Nordea x Invesdor team.
For the target companies, the Nordea x Invesdor co-operation can take many forms. Opting in to the Nordea x Invesdor process can help the company combine Invesdor equity financing with such Nordea services as conditional credit, deferred loan repayments or additional marketing visibility.
Perhaps most importantly, as mentioned by Naava CEO Aki on the video above, the company gains credibility. With banking giant Nordea and the leading Nordic digital financing expert Invesdor supporting the company, pitching to investors becomes a lot easier.
Ramping up: New investment opportunities opening soon
The collaboration has only begun ramping up. Following Naava and Weecos' successful rounds, we're kicking 2019 off with two new ones: KomeroFood and Smartcart.
KomeroFood provides meal bags that are available in grocery stores for consumers. A Komero bag contains a recipé from celebrity chef Henri Alén's and all the ingredients for a meal for two or three people. Cooking a Komero bag meal is so easy that even a child can prepare a delicious meal for the entire family. The bags contain just the right amount of ingredients, which means that no food waste is produced.
Smartcart is a leader in digital shopping carts and services, with the purpose of reinventing the physical shopping experience for not only the consumer, but also retailers and CPGs. Their goal is to deliver and evolve easy-to-use services to the shopper in an easily accessed way.
Both rounds will be opening very soon, so like the showcases and watch your email if you're interested in following their progress!
